Global Youth Groove Summer exchange program 4th annual trip July 4th – July 26th 2016

Gobal Youth Groove is a Boston based non profit that was founded in 2010 whose mission is to transform the lives of underserved youth in Africa by giving them an opportunity to learn and develop their musical abilities.

Global Youth Groove brings volunteer musicians to Kenya for an annual exchange program trip. These trips are crucial to our program because this is the only time of the year that participants from different countries have an opportunity to meet and share their music, skills, knowledge and collaborate on different projects. Participants are immersed in the Kenyan culture and get exposed to both traditional and contemporary Kenyan music.

This year we are celebrating our fifth anniversary which is a milestone to our organization. We plan to travel to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda sharing music, teaching, performing and getting immersed in the East African culture.

Its now official, dates for this years trip are set for July 4th to July 26th 2016

We are honored to have a passionate team of both Music therapists, educators, engineers and performers.
Our musicians are highly skilled they studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston a world renowned school of contemporary music.
